Programs This project is an outgrowth of our lab research with the UCLA Jonsson Cancer Center which indicated that watching funny shows can help with pain and stress during a medical procedure. Targeted Streaming Content:
Rx Laughter has expanded our use of funny and uplifting digital entertainment to include streaming content for hospitalized children and adults. We screen a basic library and "prescribe" this fun and age appropriate wholesome entertainment to help you select from what is an overwhelming array of choices. Many of the classic shows are free. Patients in pain and under stress do not have the energy to do this. We help. We contact nurses, physicians and Administrators at hospitals in the US to offer this free service to their pediatric patients and families in isolation, infusions and critical care units.

The Founder of Rx Laughter oversees this project. Ms Hilber is a former primetime network executive overseeing television content and was the Director of Creative Affairs at Walt Disney Television Animation.
